Centennial Service Day April 24

tree-plantingBoy Scouts have always made a difference in their town and in the world around them.  “Do a Good Turn” is not just a slogan – it is a way of life!  During WWII, Scouts held paper drives and sold bonds.  In 2008, Boston Minuteman Council OA Scouts traveled to Utah to help the Park Service clear invasive brush.  When a project needs to be done, you can find Scouts there! Now it’s time for Scouts to step up and join us for a nation-wide Centennial Day of Service.

During the Centennial Day of Service, you and your Scout troop can make a real difference.  Join in and clean up your local park.  Plant trees at a school.  Clean up a state beach or repair picnic tables.  Clear brush or make a path wheelchair accessible at a national park.  Whatever your interest, there is a project that needs YOUR help!

Join a planned project or create one of your own! Sign up at www.bsaboston.org today and make a difference for tomorrow!
