Shaw’s Rewards benefits the Boston Minuteman Council!
The Boston Minuteman Council has been approved to receive contributions from Shaw’s through the Shaw’s Community Rewards program. Shaw’s will contribute 1% of each supporter’s eligible Rewards Card purchases made on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Certain items including prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, stamps, money orders, gift cards, electronic gift cards, lottery tickets, photo processing, milk and other items prohibited by law are excluded. Contributions apply to all order purchases after discounts, coupons and sales tax. The Council will receive contributions from the rewards program quarterly.
It’s easy to sign up: go to Shaws.com and enter your rewards card number and phone number. The Boston Minuteman Council’s Community Rewards ID is 49001022986. Thank you for your support!
Two New Websites!
Myscoutnews.org is a site that has been created to keep in contact with parents, Scouts, leaders, donors and the media. We all have stories and pictures to share from our packs, troops and crews and this is a place for them to be posted! Let everyone know about all the great things that your unit is doing from trips, to community service, to ideas that worked for you that you would like to share! Content will be added on a regular basis.
ChooseScouting.org was designed for the new parent and potential scout to better understand scouting and all of its programs. With school nights approaching, please let prospective parents know that this is a great place to start to answer their questions. Do you know what the venture program is about? Find out on ChooseScouting.org.
Myscoutnews.org and ChooseScouting.org are not meant to replace our council website, www.bsaboston.org. In fact, from both of these new sites, you will be able to access the council website. We look forward to seeing your pictures, hearing your stories and helping you educate your new parents during our recruitment season!
