National Hall of Leadership – Nomination Date Extended!

There is still time to nominate special Scouts and Scouters to the National Hall of Leadership. One nominee will be selected from each Council and one from Nationals.  Don’t miss the chance to recognize people who have made a real contribution to Scouting!

Scout Day at BU February 13

Looking for a family fun? Join Boston Minuteman Council Boy Scouts at an exciting BU men’s basketball game! Scouts attend FREE and family members can get $4 tickets!

Saturday February 13, 2010 at 4:00 pm Boston University vs Hartford

Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts can attend the Boston University Men’s Basketball game. Scouts attending in uniform receive free admission to the game and a Scout Patch. Parents/guardians/families can purchase a ticket at a reduced price of $4 at the Men’s Basketball game. Stop by ticket window before the game to pick up the ticket.

National Hall of Leadership – Deadline for Entries is February 8!

Do you know an exceptional Scout or Scouter who should be recognized for their service to Scouting? As part of the 100th Anniversary celebration, Boy Scouts of America is honoring outstanding leaders from around the United States.

The deadline for applicaiton is February 8. BSA will choose one inductee from each Council and one national inductee to be honored at the annual meeting in May 2010 in Dallas.
